A static webpage is a simple text file which sits on a web hosts server. When you connect to that page with a Web browser, the text file downloads and the webpage is displayed.
If I want to update that page, I need to first work on my database adding & cross-checking the data, removing dupes, spell checking, filling missing details and recording the origins of the data and more...
Then I needed to export new records, adding the new to the old using a custom tool that I made, checking the results, add or amend credits and any photo links manually the upload the updated page. and that all takes time. All the section in italics with Dynamic web pages.
